Welcome to the Living Library.

This is Herban Cura’s digital school and archive for deepening studies of history, ecology, memory, and lifeways. This long-awaited resource is a compilation of knowledge by wisdom holders, professors, land stewards, seed keepers, and investigators. It is a library intentionally curated with a multitude of diverse resources, which will be continuously expanded with live events, recordings from our archive, lived experiences, and resources we create especially for you, our community.

Our prayer is to provide participants with this knowledge in a community constellation of past offerings, knowing that these classes and resources are enriched by being in such inspiring company and conversation with each other within this context. We have created the Living Library, a monthly subscription giving access to over 100 hours of our past knowledge shares. We believe it is necessary and important for folks to have access to knowledge in a collective context at an affordable cost.

With this monthly subscription, get access to every live online knowledge share for 2024, including all classes from 2023 and occasional knowledge shares from past years. With an anticipated roster of at least 28 knowledge shares, this monthly subscription (worth $1,400 in individual tickets over the course of 1 year) is the most affordable and flexible way to guarantee access to a year’s worth of Herban Cura’s curated online programming, in addition to the Herban Cura Community Forum a place to connect with the Herban Cura team and other participants, ask questions, and share & receive curated resources.

What people are saying

“I felt in this space a depth of respect and honor for all of our relations. Human, plant, and the interconnected complexities of time, history, biology, and emotion (life itself). Thank you, thank you…the subject matter was presented in a way that was an experience, not just information to listen to and digest, relevant, honoring history as it exists in us today.”
